View source for Pos3/5/FNB: Line 1 Invalid Account No, Posting Error

<u><b>Question :</b></u>

When I try to do POS posting , system prompts me an error – “Line 1: Invalid Account No.”

May I know how to solve it?

<u><b>Possible Reason :</b></u>

This is most probably because one of your posting account number is missing

<u><b>Solution :</b></u>

You need to check the setting of default posting accounts to see which one is missing.

1. Login <span style='color:red'>Accounting</span>  >  Go to <span style='color:red'>Tools</span> > <span style='color:red'>Options</span>

2. Go to <span style='color:red'>G/L Category</span> > <span style='color:red'>Default Account</span>

You need to assign a posting Account No for <span style='color:red'>Sales Account</span> and <span style='color:red'>Cash Sales Account</span>.

After that, try to do posting again
