<u><b>Possible Reason :</b></u>

Most probably you did not tick the option: line discount post to separate account.



<u><b>Solution :</b></u>

1)	Go to <span style='color:red'>Tools > Options > Invoicing > Customize Invoicing</span>, <span style='color:red'>check</span> the option <span style='color:red'>“Line Discount post to separate Account”</span>, and click on <span style='color:red'>OK</span>.

2)	<span style='color:red'>Edit</span> the Invoice and <span style='color:red'>retype the discount</span>, then <span style='color:red'>Save</span> the Invoice.

3)	Now the posting in AR Invoice is updated. The discount is posted to discount account.
