Question: Why can’t I create new account book in client pc? There is an error message “Test Connection failed” prompted.


Possible reason:

You have chosen the 1st option ‘create a default account book in this pc’ for Database Server Location. This option is to create account book in own pc and SQL Server must be installed in that pc.


To create new account book from workstation, user should select

i. 2nd option, which is “Create a new account book in any PC

ii. Then, “Get Available Servers.” (to select the server)


iii. After selecting server, you may click on the “Test Connection” to check whether connection to server is success or not. Then proceed with the account book creation.
