Troubleshooting: Error message – The value of column Location in table IPHIST does not exist in its master file

Question: When I try to save an invoice, system prompts me an error message “The value of column Location in table IPHIST does not exist in its master file”. What should I do?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

The location under Stock Maintenance has been deleted but invoice still capture the record of this location which does not exist in system anymore. Thus, system unable to save your invoice.

Solution:

1. Change your location to a valid location (Image 1) .

2. Double check and change the default location to another location(Image 2) under Tools > Options > Miscellaneous

Note: If user accidently deleted the location, create again the location and use the same name as default location set in AutoCount.
