Troubleshooting: Save Invoice Error - The value of column ItemCode in table UTDStockCost does not exist in its master file
Question : When I try to save a new Invoice, system prompts an error message " The value of column ItemCode in table UTDStockCost does not exist in its master file. What should I do?
Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0
Possible Reason :
Some of the items in this Invoice, information/value is missing or did not maintain correctly in Stock Item Maintenance.
Solution :
1) Try to remove the item and save the Invoice. Remove one item and Save, then repeat the same steps to find out which is the item that causing issue.
Result showed that the problem is on item abcd.
2) Go to Stock > Stock Item Maintenance, double click the item ‘abcd’. Found that the Base UOM is empty.
3) Edit and assign the base UOM and click on OK.
4) Now you should be able to save the Invoice.
