Troubleshooting: Scheduled Backup setting error - Unable to retrieve the root folder error

Question : When I try to browse the backup directory at AutoCount scheduled backup, system prompts error message “Unable to retrieve the root folder”. Why?

Possible Reason :

You do not have access rights to browse the folder.

Solution :

1) Uninstall AutoCount Backup Server from Control Panel > Programs and Features.

2) Reinstall AutoCount Backup Server by right click on the installer and click on “Run as administrator”.

3) After installed, open AutoCount Scheduled Backup Control Panel to add new schedule backup. Now you should be able to browse the backup directory folder without error.

Note : Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the suggested steps.
