Troubleshooting: Unable to edit Stock Value Maintenance

Question : After I updated my AutoCount Accounting to version 1.9.6.18, I am not allowed to edit the Stock Value Maintenance. Why?

Possible Reason :

In version 1.9.6.18, a new access right is added to control the users to edit Stock Value Maintenance. By default, this access right is granted to ADMINS and FINANCEMGR group only. For users who are not belonged to either one of these 2 groups, will have their access denied.

Solution :

To grant a user such access right, you must login as ADMIN and go to General Maintenance > User Maintenance > Access Rights > AutoCount Accounting > General Ledger > Stock Value Maintenance > Edit Stock Value, check the checkbox of the user you wish to grant such access rights.

That user may now login again and should be now able to edit Stock Value Maintenance.
