Troubleshooting Payroll: Invalid date error when assign employee resign date

Question : When I uncheck “is Employed” and assign the resign date for one of the employees, system prompted error “Invalid Date.” Why?

Possible Reason :

Computer date format issue.


Solution :

1) Open Control Panel > Clock and Region > Region.

2) Click on Formats – Additional Settings

3) Click on Date and under Date formats > Short date, change the format to dd/MM/yy, then click on Apply and click on OK. Then on OK again.

4) Re-login payroll, and now you may successfully assign the resign date and Save.

Note : Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the steps as above.
