Optical Pos: Login Accounting can’t load Optical POS Plugin

Question :

When login Accounting Backend, it prompts an error which shown as below.

Error occurred while executing plug-in Optical POS Plugin’s BeforeLoad method.

The error message is Access to the registry key ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AutoCount\Optical POS Backend’ is denied..

Possible Reason :

AutoCount Accounting was not running as Windows Administrator.


Solution :

1. Go to Windows Desktop > right click AutoCount Accounting > Properties > Compatibility tab > tick the check box Run this program as an administrator > OK.
