<b>Standalone Database:</b> create a new database (empty); choose this option if both frontend and backend is installed in same machine;
<b>Attach Existing Database:</b> link to an existing account book either stored in this machine or other machine in a network / internet.<br/>
<b>(In this helpfile, we will choose Standalone Database)</b><br/><br/>
4.As Frontend and Backend having a different database in Autocount POS 5, therefore although we have created a company in Backend, we still have to create a new company for frontend as well.<br/> [[File:FT01CONFF3.png]]<br/><br/>
<b>1.Basic Information</b>
<b>New Company Name:</b> key in the company name for the new account book (database).

Choose your country transaction currency.<br/>
<b>(For this Help File, our company name will be POS 5 Sdn Bhd (FE) where FE means Frontend; and our Predefined Country Banknote and Coin Series will be Malaysia.)</b><br/><br/>

9.Next screen is wizard for us to create a POS Sync. Click on <span style=color:red><i>Sync Configuration</i></span> to create sync profile.<br/> [[File:FT01CONFF8.png]]<br/><br/>
10.POS Terminal Wizard prompts. Click <span style=color:red><i>Next</i></span> to continue; or click <span style=color:red><i>‘How to Setup POS Sync’</i></span> for the guide on how to set up Sync Profile; or you may also refer to <span style=color:red><i>AutoCount POS Sync Monitor</i></span>.<br/> [[File:FT01CONFF9.png|1200px]]<br/><br/>
11.Fill in the Server IP Address and Sync Service Port that been jotted down during the POS Sync Profile setup, and click <span style=color:red><i>Next</i></span>. You may also refer to step 9 of <span style=color:red><i>POS Sync Monitor</i></span> help file.<br/> [[File:FT01CONFF10.png]]<br/><br/>
