Pos5/FNB: After payment there is an error prompt “Failed to open port:”
Question :
After completing my payment, I have receive error prompt as shown below.
Failed to open port:
Possible Reason :
Most probably user had linked the cash drawer to the wrong COM port or possibly they do not have cash drawer.
Solution :
1a. Login POS > More Function > Configuration Setting > Document Control 2 tab > check the Cash Drawer > OK
1b. Login FnB > More Function > Settings > Configuration Setting > Document Control 2 tab > check the Cash Drawer > OK
Note:
Please leave this blank if you do not have cash drawer.
2. Click OK and relaunch the application.
