Pos5/FNB: Save Configuration Setting error. Access to the path is denied
Question :
When I click OK to save configuration setting system come out an error message.
Access to the path ‘C:\ProgramData\AutoCount\POS 5\POSWebApi.config’ is denied.
Access to the path ‘C:\ProgramData\AutoCount\FnB 5\FnbWebApi.config’ is denied.
Possible Reason :
Most probably is Windows security did not grant access right to rewrite this file.
Solution :
1. Open Windows file explore > enter the path location > right click the file > Properties > Security tab > Edit… > Add… > enter Everyone > OK
Sample:
C:\ProgramData\AutoCount\POS 5
C:\ProgramData\AutoCount\FnB 5
2. Select user group ‘Everyone’ > tick Full control > OK > OK
3.Back to Frontend POS / FnB save again
