SST: How to add and key in Tax Adjustment or Local Tax Adjustment

Question: How to add and key in tax adjustment or local tax adjustment column at Purchase Invoice?

Answer:

1) Right click on any of the column headers, choose “Column Chooser”.


2) Scroll down to find “Tax adjustment” and “Local Tax adjustment”, drag and move it to column header.


Tax Adjustment is used to adjust the Tax amount for the creditor currency.

Here is the result before and after adjustment. Before adjusting, Tax amount is 5.99.


Now, key in the figure to adjust in the Tax Adjustment column.

Here is the result after adjustment. You will notice that after keying in 0.01 at Tax Adjustment, the Tax amount changed to 6.00.


Local Tax Adjustment is used to adjust Local Tax amount without affecting the Tax amount.

Here is the result before and after adjustment. Before adjusting, Local Tax amount is 26.95.


Now, key in the figure to adjust in the Local Tax Adjustment column.

Here is the result after adjustment. You will notice that after keying in 0.01 at Local Tax Adjustment, the Local Tax amount changed to 26.96.

The Tax amount column 5.99 remains unchanged.
