Troubleshooting: Uninstall AutoCount Server error - Error 1001. Unable to get installer types in the C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoCount\AutoCount Server\AutocountServerServices.exe assembly

Question: When I try to uninstall AutoCount Server (Backup Sever), it prompted an error “Error 1001. Unable to get installer types in the C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoCount\AutoCount Server\AutocountServerServices.exe assembly.”?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

The Event ID 1001 error is usually caused by hardware failure, application errors, malware, and Blue Screen of Death errors. Some of the most common root causes for these problems include high CPU and RAM usage, overheating issues, app compatibility issues, or running resource-demanding programs on low-end devices.

Solution:

1) Right click on Command Prompt and Run as administrator.

2) Paste the command into the command prompt and press Enter.

sc delete AutocountServerService

3) If it still fails to uninstall, try to download Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter and use it to uninstall AutoCount Server.
