Pos:Sync Error - Avast Antivirus program blocked sync process

Question: Sync Error: The process cannot access the file ‘C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\xxx.dll’ because it is being used by another process.



Possible Reason:

Avast Antivirus program blocked the specific file path ‘C:\WINDOWS\TEMP’.


Solution:

Add the specific file path into Avast Antivirus exclusions list.

Step 1: Look for Settings on bottom left of your Avast Antivirus and click on it.



Step 2: In General tab, look for Exclusions and click on it.



Step 3: Click on browse.



Step 4: Browse to the specific folder path and check on it, then click on OK.



Step 5: Click on OK.



Now, you should be able to run POS Sync without encountering error message.
