Sales: Auto Convert line discount into percentage

Question: Can system auto convert the discount amount that I key in into invoice to discount percentage instead I need to key in % every time?

Answer:

Yes, system provides you an option to change it. This setting is applicable to line discount, as there is no need to type the symbol % after the numeric value; however this setting will also limit the line discount to percentage only.

To change it, go to Tools > Options

Under Invoicing, go to Customize Invoicing > Automatic convert to percentage; check the checkbox of ‘ Automatic Convert Discount to Percentage’ and click on OK to save the setting.

When you key in the numeric value, system will convert into percentage now. E.g. if you key 2, system will auto convert into 2%
