Troubleshooting: Unable to choose Item Code during transaction

Question : Why can’t I choose item code during transactions?

Version : 1.8/ 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

The option of Use Lookup Edit To Input Item Code is not enabled.

Solution :

1) Go to Tools > Options > Invoicing > Document Control.

2) Check the checkbox of Use Lookup Edit To Input Item Code and click on OK.

3) Now you should be able to select item code during transaction.
