Troubleshooting: Closing Stock amount in Profit & Loss Report not same as Stock Value Maintenance amount

Question: Why is my closing stock amount in Profit & Loss report not the same as stock value maintenance July amount?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

This account book has enabled ‘Use Live Stock balance in all Financial Report’

Solution:

Go to Tools > Options > General > Application Settings, uncheck ‘Use Live Stock Balance in all Financial Report’, then click on OK.

Now, preview Profit & Loss report as at 31/07/2022, closing stock amount shows the same amount maintained at Stock Value Maintenance.
