Accounting 2.0 - Prompted Message: Unable to startup AutoCount Server - System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for… Get Unique Hardware ID error

Question: When start up AutoCount Server, system prompted error “System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for… Get Unique Hardware ID error”. Why?

Possible Reason:

User has earlier installed AutoCount Server version 2.0.6.141 in this computer, and now downgrade to a lower version.

Remark: AutoCount Server after updated to 2.0.6.141, not allow downgrade to lower version.

Solution:

Update AutoCount Server to Version 2.0.6.141 or later. The AutoCount Accounting version that matches with AutoCount Server 2.0.6.141 is at least version 2.0.29.202. Thus, you need to update AutoCount Accounting version to 2.0.29.202 or later.
