Question: How can I configure GST Malaysia if my home currency for account book is USD?
Answer:
First you must have the module of Advance Multi-Currency.
1. Go to Tools > Options.
2. Under General > Goods and Services Tax, check the checkbox of ‘Enable Goods and Service Tax’ and click on the drop-down list for ‘Reporting Currency Code’ to choose your preferred currency as MYR.
3. Click on Yes to change the Tax Currency Rate with maintained currency rate.
4. Now, you can configure tax code for Malaysia Use. Go to GST > Tax Code Maintenance > Configure Malaysia GST .
