How to configure POS B attach POS A database?


Solution :

For Pos 3:

You need to configure settings at POS B.

Open AutoCount POS Database Configuration


Alternatively you may find database configuration application at C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoCount\Pos folder and look for PosConfig

Key in POS A local/vpn IP Address for SQL Server (example: 10.8.0.138\A2006)

Then click on Get Available Database button to select POS A database and select POS B terminal ID.


Now, you have successfully attached POS A database and you may login now.


For POS5/F&B System

You need to configure settings at POS B.

Open AutoCount POS/F&B 5.0 Database Configuration


Alternatively you may find database configuration application at C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoCount\FnB/POS 5.0 folder and look for PosConfig

Key in POS A local/vpn IP Address for SQL Server (example: 10.8.0.138\A2006)

Then click on Get Available Database button to select POS A database and select POS B terminal ID.


Now, you have successfully attached POS A database and you may login now.
