Pos3/5/FNB: Why is cash drawer ejected when print order slip or hold bill?

Question :

Why is cash drawer ejected (open drawer / kick drawer) when print order slip or hold bill?

Possible Reason :

at printer properties you have set to eject cash drawer after print or before print.

Solution :

1. Go to Control Panel -> All control panel items -> Device and Printers

2. Right click Thermal Receipt Printer -> Printer Properties

3. Click on Device Settings tab

4. Change cash select: to NO CASH DRAWER -> click Apply

Note: Each thermal receipt printer might have different term of settings.
