Question: How to record stock return from cash sales?
Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0
Answer:
Assuming the Cash Sales has been fully paid and the stock returned will be refunded.
Step 1: Go to Sales > Credit Note.
Step 2: Click on Create a new Credit Note.
Step 3: Select the Debtor, add Item Code, make sure the Return is checked, and then click on Save.
Step 4: Go to A/R > A/R Refund Entry.
Step 5: Click on Create a new A/R Refund.
Step 6: Select Debtor, add Payment Method and key in Payment Amount, knock off the specific CN that you created previously, and then click on Save.
Now, the stock has been returned and the payment have been refunded to your debtor.
