Troubleshooting: Bank Reconciliation – Error: Invalid input type
Question : When I key in a negative amount -1000 in bank reconciliation Actual Bank Statement Balance, message prompted: Invalid input type?
Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0
Possible Reason :
Your computer setting for negative currency is in another format instead of negative symbol ‘-’.
Solution :
1) Go to Control Panel > Clock and Region.
2) Click on Region, and click on Additional Setting in Formats tab.
3) Change the negative sign symbol back to '–', then click in Apply and OK.
4) Re-login AutoCount. Now you may key in negative amount.
