Troubleshooting: Create Account Book error – The device is not ready

Question: I did test the connection to SQL instance successfully, but upon clicking on finish while create new account book, system prompted message “The device is not ready”. Why?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0



Possible Reason:

The database folder you have chosen does not exist or the external storage device is not well connected.


Solution:

Please check the database folder path, make sure the path is correct, valid and can access.


If D:\AutoCount Data is not valid, you may change it to C:\AutoCount Data, then you should be able to create the account book.
