Troubleshooting: Print Bar Code error - Control’s boundaries are too small for the barcode
Question: When I try to preview Barcode using Print BarCode Report (3.5x2.5 cm 1col, TSC TTP-244) report format, it did not show barcode but an error “Control’s boundaries are too small for the barcode”
Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0
Possible Reason :
This is because the Item Code has exceeded the length limit.
Solution (1) :
Go to Tools > Change Code > Change Item Code, to change the item code to a shorter one.
Solution (2) :
If you have maintained the item BarCode in Stock Item Maintenance, consider to change the report binding with BarCode (by default it is binding with ItemCode).
1) Go to Report > Design Print Bar Code Report, select the report name Print BarCode Report 3.5x2.5 cm 1col, TSC TTP-244, click on Design.
2) Click on the BarCode, you will see on the field list ItemCode is highlighted. Click on Barcode in field list, drag it and drop onto the BarCode in report design.
3) Now it is binding with Barcode.
4) Go to File > Save As.., save to new report name. Now, you should be able to print the barcode.
