Troubleshooting: There is a balance cost for zero quantity stock

Question : Why my item balance quantity is zero but it still has balance cost? I’ve tried run recalculate stock costing but the result still the same.

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

Most probably this item belongs to FIFO costing method and you have performed stock write off for this item.

Solution :

To adjust FIFO items, you may use Stock Adjustment to adjust.

So you need to delete the stock write off document and create it as Stock Adjustment.
