Question: when I preview P&L this year vs last year, why the figures in last year is 0?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

If you have just started to use AutoCount this year, and did not input any details of previous year, the system is not able to retrieve last year figure as there was no transaction records for last year.

Solution:

In order to compare figure of this year & last year, you are required to maintain figure for last year under General Maintenance > Last Year Balance Maintenance. It is recommended to key in the yearly figures into the last column only. Key in positive amount for accounts with Debit balance, and use the negative (-) sign for those with Credit balance. When the total amount is zero it means last year's balance is balanced.
