Troubleshooting: Unable to save a new ARCN

Question: When I try to save a new ARCN, a message box prompted 'Negative CR is not allow'. What should I do?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

You have keyed in negative value & you have checked the option 'Is Credited Journal'. Journal entry doesn't allow negative amount to be entered in both debit and credit side.

Solution:

1. If you wish to create a normal Credit Note and not Credit Journal, uncheck the option ‘is Credit Journal’ option.

2. If you wish to create a credit journal, you can create a Debit Note for the negative amount and knock-off the Debit Note with the newly created Credit Note.
