Question: when I try to process a new payroll, it prompts me an error message ‘Failed to create new payroll transaction, prompted error ‘There are some EPF record(s) have not been set Employer Contribution for amount <=5000 or amount > 5000’.

Possible Reason:

The EPF table has not been set up completely and some employees are referred to this EPF table, the system is not able to process any new payroll transaction as something is missing from the EPF table.

Solution:

Go to Maintenance > EPF table, click on the next button, make sure all the related information in EPF table are filled and click on ‘rebuild’.

After rebuild, the table will show as the following screen.

And now, you may proceed to generate new payroll transaction.
