AR: Can I create two Debtor accounts with same company name
Question : Can I create two Debtor accounts with same company name?

Answer :
Yes. However their account codes are different.
1) Go to A/R > Debtor Maintenance > Create a new Debtor , type the same company name, and system will prompted “The debtor name (AA) is already exists, do you want to open the record?”, click on No, because you are not going to open the previous account.
2) Continue to key in the debtor info, then click on Save. System will prompted “The debtor name (AA) is already exists, do you want to save the changes?”, click on Yes to save.
3) The debtor account is successful created.
