Question: When I want to save a journal entry, error message prompted: “Cannot perform ‘=’ operation on System.DateTime and System.String”. Why?

Version: 2.1

Possible Reason:

Suspected that there is a date format conflict between AutoCount and the computer’s operating system.

Solution:

1) Go to Control Panel > Change date, time, or number formats.

2) Click on Additional settings..

3) At Date tab, change the short date to dd-MM-yy, then click on Apply and OK.

4) Relogin AutoCount and you should be able to save the journal now.

Note: Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem persists after performing the suggested steps.
