Question : Differences between Flat Approval and Sequential Approval

Answer :

Flat Approval: Single level approval setting. All approvers (if more than one approver is assigned) are required to approve a request.

Sequential Approval: Multi-level approval setting. When there is more than one approver is assigned, the first approver will need to approve a request, before the second approver and then the subsequent approvers.
