FnB: Manual sync error message (Both POS and FnB database are same, does not allow start window services twice)?

Question :

When perform manual sync shows error message (Both POS and FnB database are same, does not allow start window services twice)?


Solution :

This is because the system has detected POS and Fnb program are both installed, and both services are running at the same time.


1. Press Windows Key + R to show Run program and key in services.msc and press OK


2. You will see both services are running which is “AfnB Client Sync” (FNB) and “APOS Client Sync” (POS).


3. Disable FNB Service if you want to perform manual sync for POS , or disable POS Service if you want to perform manual sync for FNB.


Please do note that, in normal circumstances there is no such thing as 2 different POS in 1 standalone PC.


Note : Please perform synchronization after make any changes on POS Backend.
