GL: How to edit Payment Method code

Question: I try to edit Payment Method code at Bank Account, but system does not allow. How can I rename or edit Payment Method code?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Answer:

To edit payment method, go to Tools > Change Code > Change Payment Method.

Click on “+”, select your old payment method code and enter your new payment method code and click on Change.

The payment method code is changed.

Remark:

You may only directly edit the Payment Method during its creation (Add Payment Method) at Bank/Cash/Deposit account.
If you are facing problem to edit Payment Method directly during its creation (Add Payment Method), please update to version 1.9.11.77 for Version 1.9 and 2.0.28.200 for Version 2.0.
