Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Answer:

It is used to show Creditor Account and Debtor Account assigned under Debtor/Creditor Control Account if you check “Show Debtor/Creditor Control Account only”.

Debtor/Creditor Control Account are Special Account created at Account Maintenance.

When creating a new debtor, we usually assigned it to a control account.

In Ledger, the system usually shows transactions by Debtor/Creditor account. But when you checked “Show Debtor/Creditor Control Account only”, it will no longer show each debtor/creditor account. It will only show Debtor/Creditor Control Acc, Sub-A/C No will show Debtor/Creditor account number, Sub-A/C Description will show Debtor/Creditor name.
