General Maintenance: Can I extend the length of Project Code

Question: Can I extend the length of project code?

Answer:

Yes. System provides an option for you to extend the length of Project Code.

Step 1: Log in AutoCount Management Studio > Tools > Change User-Defined Data Types Size

Step 2: A windows will be prompted. Select d_Project if you wish to change project code length. Enter to change the size (number of characters) you desired in User-Defined Data Type Size and click Change.

Maximum data size is 50.

Step 3: Log out AutoCount Management Studio and proceed to create new project code in AutoCount Accounting.

You may also change the length (size) of the following codes:
1. Department Code
2. Item Code
3. Item Group
4. Item Type
5. Location
6. UOM
