Optical Pos: The stock record is not found in Spectacle or Contact Lens Order screen

Question: When searching item on Spectacle or Contact Lens Order screen, system prompted: “The stock record is not found”, but I have created the item code in Auto Count?


Possible Reason:

1.Search by Barcode button is enabled in Sales screen.



2.The stock group is not properly maintained with Optical POS stock type / The item code is not properly maintained with stock group.

3.Searching wrong item code in particular category. E.g.: Searching Frame item in RX Lens category



Solution:

1.Disable the Search by Barcode button in Sales screen (Refer screenshot 1.2). If Search by Barcode button is enabled, Optical POS will only search for Barcode field of the items.



2.Maintain AutoCount stock group’s Optical POS stock type under User Defined Field (Refer screenshot 2.1) / Assign stock group into every item code after having done previous steps.



3.Select the correct item in appropriate category
