Others: Backup Option - Compression level

From AutoCount Resource Center

Question: In Auto Count Backup option, there is a compression level selection. What is the difference if I select a compression level other than the default “Normal”?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Answer:

The compression level selection is for user to pick the level of compression to the backup (how heavy you want to compress). The better the compression the longer it will take to perform your backup but resulting in a smaller file size and vice versa.

If database size is large, you may consider to go for the option “Good” or “Best” in order to save space in your hard disk. There is no difference of quality regardless of which compression level you choose, the only thing that affected is Speed (Time) vs Space (Data Size).
