Question: Can I show encoded cost in the bar code print for our company reference?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Answer :

Yes, but you need to set the Item Cost Encoding string.

1) Go to Tools > Options > Stock > General Stock Setting, key in your encoding string.

Example :

abcdefghij,.

The first letter/number/symbol will represent '0', the second one represents '1', the third one represents '2' ... and so on till '9'. E.g. abcdefghij, a=0, b=1, c=2, ... , j=9

2) Re-login AutoCount and go to Print Bar Code. Click on Report > Design Print Bar Code Report, select the barcode report and click on Design.

3) Drag out the Encoded Cost, and go to File > Save as.., save to new report name.

4) Import the item in Print Bar Code, and click on Preview. The cost is encoded in the Bar Code printed.
