Pos3/5/FNB: Duplicate Barcode for itemcode

Question :

When I scan barcode in POS system, it shows 2 different item codes. How to avoid duplicated barcodes on different items?

Possible Reason :

You have enabled Allow Duplicate Barcode in backend.

Solution :

Login Accounting Backend > go to Tools tab > select Options. Then select BarCode under Stock Category, uncheck the checkbox of Allow Duplicate Bar Code.

Logout and Login accounting, now you are unable to save duplicated barcode in Stock Item Maintenance
