Question :

How do I restrict staff from selling item that has no more stock?

Solution :

1. Login Backend > Stock > Stock Item Maintenance > Edit/View > make sure the check box of Back Order Control is ticked for all control items;

2. Go to Point of Sale > Maintenance > Terminal Setting Maintenance > select ID > Edit > Document Control 2 tab > tick Backorder control > OK

3. Go to Point of Sale > Maintenance > POS User Group Maintenance > select User Group ID > Edit > untick the check box Backorder (if you do not allow selling item with 0 stock) > OK

4. Perform speed sync to outlet and re login frontend system.
