Pos3/5/FNB: License Control Error System.IO.IOExeption

Question :

This morning when I open POS system, it prompts a message of 200 transactions limit, then I click on License Control under POS Database Configuration > Tools to get the following error, why?

System.IO.IOException: Cannot create a file when that file already exists…

Possible Reason :

The system unable to generate or update new license info into config & session file.

Solution :

1a. For POS go to C:\ProgramData\AutoCount\POS 5.0 > delete all the files name start with POSDeviceID & Session.

1b. For FnB go to C:\ProgramData\AutoCount\FnB 5.0 > delete all the files name start with POSDeviceID & Session.

2. Go to click on License Control again and it will be solved.
