Pos3/5/FNB: Line 1 Invalid Account No, Posting Error

Question :

When I try to do POS posting , system prompts me an error – “Line 1: Invalid Account No.”

May I know how to solve it?


Possible Reason :

This is most probably because one of your posting account number is missing


Solution :

You need to check the setting of default posting accounts to see which one is missing.

1. Login Accounting > Go to Tools > Options


2. Go to G/L Category > Default Account

You need to assign a posting Account No for Sales Account and Cash Sales Account.

After that, try to do posting again
