Pos3/5/FNB: Remote HQ failed to login

Question :

I have configured remote HQ settings in Pos Backend Frontend Option , but when I try to use remote HQ login from my terminal. It prompts ‘User ADMIN failed to login’ error. May I know what is the problem?


Possible Reason  :

You have done some wrong setting in your POS backend – HQ Database Connection Settings

Solution :

1. Login Pos 5.0 Backend > Point Of Sale > Maintenance > Pos Option Maintenance


2. Click Edit Button to Edit your Option ID


You have set wrong Database Name in HQ Database Connection.

You should set (Backend Database) not (Frontend Database).

3. Amend database name, click OK to save, then perform speed sync from your terminal


4. Now you should be able to login remote HQ from your terminal
