Pos3/5/FNB: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value

Question :

The following error was prompted when doing POS sync:

Sync failed at yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss. Permanent error found during sync. Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path “, line 1, position 1.

Possible Reason :

HQ sync monitor services is stopped.

Solution :

1. At HQ Server click on Windows Start > AutoCount POS 5.0 > AutoCount POS 5.0 Sync Monitor

2. Go to Windows Notified Area > double click AutoCount POS Server Monitor.

3. Make sure your account book Service Status is Running, if not click Restart Service.

4.Click OK

5.Go back to POS and do sync again.
