Pos3/5/FNB: Why is the final total in Pos Transaction Viewer not the same as Daily Sales Report?

Question :

Why is the fina total in Pos Transaction Viewer not the same as Daily Sales Report?

Solution :

Daily Sales Report records only Sales amount but not Trade In amount.

Solution :

1. To find out the differences (e.g. Trade in amount), Login POS 5.0 Backend > Point of Sale > Sales Report > Trade In Refund Report

2. Set your Filter Option (Date Range…) > Inquiry, now you can look into column name Stock In Type*

StockIn Type T: means Trade In record

StockIn Type R: means Return record

This database sample:

Daily Sales Report = POS Transaction Viewer + Trade In & Refund Report

367.70 = 347.80 + 19.90
