Question :

Failed to Send Test Email for Gmail SMTP server in Pos Terminal settings? Can’t receive email when Close Counter?

The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.0 Authentication Required. For more information, go to


Possible Reason :

The password insert in the Own SMTP server is email password. Gmail require setup App passwords for send mail through third party applications


Solution :

1. Erase the email password of the settings


2. Copy the password generate from App Passwords -> Paste into the password column


3. Then when send test email should be function
