Pos5/FNB: Hotkey or Syntax Formula on enter Barcode

Question :

In AutoCount POS Retail and FnB, we have some syntax formula to enhance user experience especially to those veteran users who get used on using keyboard to enter their item or give discount.(Hotkey)


Solution :


1. Change Quantity ( * ).

Sample A: Determine the qty of your item before you enter the item code.

Quantity*Item Code/Barcode > Enter key

Sample B: To change the qty of your item after you had entered you itemcode.

*Quantity > Enter key


2. Change Unit Price.

Sample: To change your unit price.

+Amount > Enter key


3. Discount by Amount.

Sample: To give row discount by amount.

-Amount > Enter key


4. Discount by Percentage.

Sample: To give row discount by percentage.

/Amount > Enter key


5.Total Discount by Amount.

Sample: To give total discount by Amount. (apply to line above this discount only)

--Amount > Enter key


6. Total Discount by Percentage

Sample: To give total discount by Percentage. (apply to line above this discount only)

//Amount > Enter key


7. Net Price by row Discount

Sample: System auto calculate row subtotal to this amount and give discount amount accordingly.

=Amount > Enter key


8. Net Price by total Discount

Sample: System auto calculate subtotal to this amount and give discount amount accordingly.

==Amount > Enter key


9.Markup Unit Price

Sample: Add certain amount on top of your Unit Price.

10.00 (Unit Price) + 20.00 (Markup Price) = 30.00 (Final Price)

++Amount > Enter key


10.Open Item (for Cash Sale only)

Sample: To sell temporary item that does not exist in the system. Non stock control item. Usually use for services.

> Enter key > set Description > set Unit Price > OK


11.Use System Price

Sample: Change back to original Unit Price.

+s > Enter key
