Question: When I tried to edit the price for item in POS, error message prompted ‘Line printer, cannot set discount on this line’ and I can’t even change the unit price for an item. What should I do?
I face this error when trying to edit the item in POS. What should I do?
You didn’t enable the option of ‘Print receipt after made payment’. When this option is not enabled, system will print the item line by line every time you enter or scan an item. Thus, system wouldn’t allow you to change the item details as the item detail already printed.
Enable the option of ‘Print receipt after made payment’. Receipt will only be printed out after payment is made.
i. In POS, Click on More Function,
iii. Go to Receipt Tab and check the option of ‘Print receipt after made payment’
iv. Next, click on ‘OK. Then log out and log in POS.
You will be able to edit the item details in POS system now
